Over my many years in the bush, I have used dozens of different makes, models and styles of knives always hoping to find the perfect knife. Well, I am happy to report that I finally have.

The knife I now proudly make available as part of the Nitro Express Safari Gear Collection is a great knife. Made from the finest materials, this superb knife measures 10 ½ inches long, full tang running the length of the handle, 1/16 inch thick spine with a 6 inch drop-point blade. The handles are made from desert ironwood, an especially hard and dense wood, each handle selected for its beauty and ruggedness.

The knife is designed for the heaviest work. Cutting through the toughest hides of buffalo, hippo and elephant with ease, yet sure-handed enough for use on smaller game such as impala and warthog not to mention perfect for deer sized game, bear and elk anywhere in the world.

Its simple, straightforward design provides the user with a knife that can handle all skinning jobs, from the removal of capes and skins to full and complete butchering of even the largest carcasses.
